Ilya Martynov is a student of the Rodchenko School (workshop of Sergey Bratkov) and ENSAPC National Art School in Paris. He works with different media: painting, graphics, sculpture, objects, video and sound art. The main themes of his work are speculation in media, displacement and disruption of reality, anthropology of the animal and human. Active participant of self-organizations, co-founder of the art residence in Sochi. Nominee for the Sergey Kuryokhin Prize. Sergey Kuryokhin 2020 and Zverev Art Prize 2021. Works are in Russian and foreign private collections. He lives and works in Paris.
